Agency: Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIt) Class Title: INFORMATION SYSTEMS ANALYST II - 21166 Skill Option: Application Services - Information Technology Salary: Anticipated Starting Salary $7,787 a month; Full Range $7,787 - $11,450 a month County: Sangamon Essential Functions • Under administrative direction, serves as a Business Analyst for the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT), supporting the Illinois Liquor Control Commission (ILCC) in performing complex professional and advisory functions and performing in-depth assessment and analysis to provide business process re-engineering and transformation services for highly complex enterprise-wide applications. • Writes user stories, use cases, and program specifications and participates in design, testing, training, knowledge transfer, system tuning, and system implementation in order to translate and track results of business analysis through the entire system development life cycle (SDLC). • Serves as a project team leader working on complex projects with DoIT technical staff and determining and coordinating project components such as project scheduling and assignments. • Analyzes and recommends new procedures and techniques to improve requirements gathering, articulation, process and data modeling, testing and documentation process. • Keeps abreast of new developments in the information technology field by continuing education through online training platforms, meetings, training sessions, seminars, and conferences to increase familiarity with and remain current on products, vendors, techniques, and procedures. • Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of duties enumerated above. https://lnkd.in/gesxH_BU
