We compared 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗽 and 𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗽𝘆 in a real benchmark. 1,000 pages on the same server, same conditions. The results were clear: • BS4 + requests: 954 seconds • BS4 + threads: 120 seconds • Scrapy: 24 seconds 𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗽𝘆 is not "just faster." It is built on an asynchronous event loop, handles concurrency for you, and includes retries, throttling, exporting, and middleware. It's a full framework. 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗽 is still great, but only as a parsing tool. It is perfect for learning, prototyping, and small scripts under 100 pages. 👉 Read the full breakdown, benchmarks, and code examples in our blog: https://lnkd.in/envzvc2v
