In August, Columbia Sportswear’s CAPE (Coalition of Asian & Pacific Islander Employees) Employee Resource Network, partnered with IRCO (Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization) for a meaningful volunteer event at IRCO’s New Beginnings Market. Columbia Sportswear donated apparel and footwear to support IRCO’s mission, and our dedicated employees used their volunteer hours to unpack and organize the warehouse, helping prepare essential resources for distribution to the community. We’re thankful for the time, effort, and commitment our employees brought to this event, and we appreciate IRCO for welcoming us and facilitating this impactful collaboration. Shoutout to our incredible employee Hood to Coast team! They powered through the legendary PNW relay in record-breaking heat, covering every kind of terrain—from mountain trails to sandy shores in their Konos Elevate footwear. This year’s team brought together both new and returning runners, all geared up in Columbia from head to toe. From start to finish, our gear and our people proved they’re engineered for whatever. #lifeatcsc

This summer, Columbia Sportswear proudly welcomed a talented cohort of rising college seniors and graduate students into our 10-week Summer Internship Program. Designed to support and inspire future professionals in the outdoor and apparel industry, the program offered hands-on experience across key departments including Columbia Digital Technology (CDT), Supply Chain, Human Resources, and Innovation. Interns contributed to impactful projects while gaining real-world experience and engaging with senior leaders across the organization. These conversations provided valuable insights into Columbia’s business strategy and leadership culture. In addition to their core assignments, interns participated in immersive experiences that deepened their understanding of Columbia’s operations and values. Highlights included a behind-the-scenes tour of the Rivergate Distribution Center, a visit to the Innovation Lab featuring product development technologies and personalized foot scans, a culinary workshop with Bon Appétit, and a professional headshot session at our in-house photo studio. As the program comes to a close, we extend our sincere thanks to this year’s intern cohort for their energy, curiosity, and contributions. #LifeatCSC
