    🏙️ This past week our leadership team, including CEO Scott Boatwright, traveled to Chicago to visit two of our suppliers who help bring Food with Integrity to our restaurants. 🌯 The team toured the OSI Group's enterprise factory, where our beans and adobo are prepared, and Get Fresh Produce’s distribution center, which provides our restaurants with an array of fresh ingredients. 👏 We’re grateful for partners who share our commitment to real ingredients and real food as well as our mission to Cultivate a Better World!

    👋 Meet Layla Alharazi who joined Chipotle in 2019 as a crew member at restaurant #1636 in San Marcos, CA while pursuing her Bachelor's Degree in Business Marketing at California State University San Marcos. Her experience working at the San Marcos restaurant built the foundation of her success today as a Senior Analyst, Indirect Procurement, on our supply chain team at the Newport Beach Restaurant Support Center. 🌯 As a crew member, Layla valued the sense of community among her restaurant team, learned the importance of adaptability and strengthened her ability to work under pressure. She also recognized how essential it is to provide consistent communication and demonstrate empathy toward frontline operations in order to run great restaurants—lessons she applies daily in her current role. 💹 In the summer of 2023, Layla joined Chipotle as a Supply Chain Planning Intern. She thrived in the role and was offered a full-time position as an Analyst on the Indirect Procurement team. During this transition from intern to full-time employee, Layla appreciated the guidance she received from seasoned leaders who helped her build skills in areas like inventory management and vendor relations. She says their support is a testament to Chipotle’s inclusive culture, which remains instrumental in her continued growth. 🏆 Layla epitomizes our value of Authenticity Lives Here.     🆕 Introducing Zipotle, an entirely new way to experience Chipotle. Through our partnership with Zipline, we are testing aerial delivery in Dallas! Starting today, select guests in the Dallas area can have their Chipotle digital orders flown to them using Zipline with the launch of Zipotle's early access program. 🛩️ Zipline's autonomous aircraft, Zips, travel directly to customers' houses, conveniently delivering orders in just a few minutes of flying. 🎯 After flying to its destination, the aircraft will hover about 300 feet in the air, while the Zip lowers to the ground. The Zip automatically avoids obstacles and gently and precisely places the order at the guest's address. 🔇 Zipline delivery is extraordinarily quiet, and food arrives restaurant-fresh – even in wind, rain, cold or Texas summer heat – thanks to its speed and built-in insulation.
