We had a fantastic day joined by councillors from North Northamptonshire Council exploring the dig site of Irchester Field School 2026 🤩 ⛏️ A huge congratulations to our teams from The ARC along with University of Leicester and volunteers for a hugely successful season and our best Field School yet! Taking a step back earlier today made us realise something important: Our world can move incredibly fast at times - especially as we approach the summer. But, looking back over the last 7 days, our teams have achieved a lot! 1. Our Events Team delivered one of their best Wedding Fairs to date alongside our partner Simply Elegant Events - working with local suppliers to help couples plan and bring together all the aspects of their special day ❤️ 2. Our Learning Team attended the hugely popular STEAM event at The University of Northampton - engaging with students of all ages and bringing history and archeology to life! ⛏️ 3. Back on site the events team helped to deliver a massively popular and busy event over the weekend for the Northamptonshire Gluten Free Food Festival - working alongside the festival organisers and ensuring all visitors had the best experience 🥘 4. All teams came together earlier this week when our Irchester Field School 2026 got underway - with teams from The ARC and Learning Department leading the excavation and our events team looking after all attendees and visitors on site by providing comfortable spaces & freshly made food ready for them to refuel! 💪 It's moments like this that make you realise just how special life at The Chester House Estate truly is - and how fortunate we are to be working amongst amazing colleagues and with some of the best people around us.
