The technology will enable our local brands to elevate customers’ experience when requesting made-to-order items such as fresh bakery platters, customizable deli meat and cheese trays, dessert flights, floral arrangements and balloons. “Meeting customers’ needs is at the heart of everything we do. We’re proud to highlight some of the valued partnerships that help advance our mission. One we’re especially proud of is our ongoing collaboration with Ahold Delhaize USA. We advise the companies of Ahold Delhaize USA on sustainable seafood sourcing. Supporting the Ahold Delhaize USA brands Hannaford, Stop & Shop, Giant Food, The GIANT Company and Food Lion, we helped them to develop science-based seafood sustainability policies and continue to partner with their staff to implement the policies on a daily basis, assessing source fisheries and farms for their environmental sustainability. By 2022, all Ahold Delhaize USA brands had their full seafood assortments covered by sustainable sourcing policies. Annually, our work helps Ahold Delhaize USA and each of its companies assess that more than 3,000 seafood products meet their sustainable seafood policy criteria, greatly expanding the availability of responsibly sourced seafood in across its companies 2,000+ stores on the east coast.
