The best way to reduce picker errors is to properly train the pickers from day one. Go through all possible scenarios from size, color, shape and type of material differences. We need to show that common sense goes and attention to detail goes a long way.

Layout do Armazém: Organizar o armazém de maneira lógica, agrupando produtos semelhantes e sinalizando claramente as áreas de coleta. Training is important to avoid any picking errors in warehouse but it is also equally important to find solutions which eliminates these errors by design. Few ways which I find the picking errors can be eliminated by putting barcodes on the materials and scanning the codes. It can be equipped with colour messaging in the results on screens of barcode scanners like green if correct material is picked or red if a wrong material is picked. Another way is by proper segration to avoid errors in picking.
