The Commander of Ukraine’s newly formed Unmanned Systems Forces, Major Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, has accused Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko of providing direct tactical assistance to Russia by opening up his country’s airspace for regular kamikaze drone routes.

Writing on his official Facebook page, Brovdi delivered a fierce warning directly to Minsk, stressing that despite attempts to project diplomatic neutrality, the Belarusian regime remains directly complicit in air campaigns targeting Ukrainian energy and civilian infrastructure.

Brovdi, who was awarded the Hero of Ukraine medal in 2025 and leads Ukraine’s strategic drone forces, revealed that the military maintains precise surveillance over the cross-border drone tracks.

“Minsk Gauleiter Lukashesku! We record the flight of every single Shahed that, taking advantage of the corridors of Belarus, heads to Ukraine, every single one of your military-tinted frictions and vacillations,” Brovdi wrote.

He emphasized that Ukraine’s electronic warfare and monitoring units possess trial-ready telemetry for all air targets utilizing the Belarusian path, rendering Lukashenko’s public statements about staying out of the conflict meaningless. “You are directly involved in the murder of civilian Ukrainians,” Brovdi added, hinting at future retribution for assisting Moscow’s war machine.

China, US Cooperating to Force Diplomatic Resolution to Ukraine and Middle East Wars

Following the high-stakes Beijing summit between President Xi Jinping and US President Donald Trump, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi announced that both superpowers are actively working toward a rapid diplomatic conclusion to the wars in Ukraine and the Middle East. Wang Yi emphasized that while complex geopolitical crises lack overnight solutions, both nations are committed to maintaining constant communication to facilitate political settlements.

A multi-directional transit blueprint

The drone commander’s public remarks follow data released by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during a recent massive aerial bombardment on May 13.

Military monitors confirmed that Russian operators have altered their flight programming, purposefully steering low-altitude attack UAVs along a 5 to 10 km margin directly inside the sovereign borders of Belarus and Moldova to intentionally bypass Ukrainian air defense interception zones.

Furthermore, earlier intelligence briefs revealed that Belarusian defense infrastructure has been modified to support Russia’s electronic navigation nets, with workers installing advanced navigation antennas on the roofs of five-story residential buildings in southern Belarus to help guide the drones precisely toward northern Ukrainian targets.

The campaign to drag Minsk deeper

The exposure of the air corridors aligns with a broader warning delivered by President Volodymyr Zelensky on Friday, May 15. Zelensky revealed that Ukrainian intelligence has intercepted detailed logs of meetings between Kremlin military officials and Lukashenko aimed at forcing Minsk into active belligerence.

According to Kyiv, Moscow is pursuing operational plans to launch a secondary land or air offensive from Belarusian soil, either targeting Ukraine’s vulnerable Chernihiv-Kyiv sectors or orchestrating border provocations against neighboring NATO countries. Lukashenko recently ordered a rotational mobilization of select military units, stating the armed forces must “prepare for war” under the guise of an impending defensive ground operation.

While Belarus has functioned as an accommodating staging post for Russian aviation and missile storage since February 2022, Brovdi’s statements indicate that Ukraine’s expanding drone intelligence network is no longer treating the Belarusian border as a passive zone, preparing direct countermeasures if the transit corridors continue to function.
