Rescue dogs paired with East Texas veterans through SPCA program

Rescue dogs are getting a second chance while helping East Texas veterans reclaim theirs. The SPCA of East Texas and K-9 Connections Dog Training are pairing abandoned animals with veterans battling PTSD and anxiety, turning them into service dogs called battle buddies. Nearly 40 dogs have been matched with veterans over the past three years.
