“The mission of St. John Paul II Catholic School, a regional diocesan school, is to engage each student in the dual priorities of a challenging academic program that will promote life-long learning and a Catholic, Gospel-based faith formation, through a structured, family-centered and safe environment that values diversity and enriches the life experience of its students.”
Our HistoryCatholic education in Middletown dates back over 100 years, rooted in the former St. Mary, St. John, and St. Sebastian Parish schools. In fall 2013, a diocesan initiative merged St. Mary and St. John schools to form St. John Paul II Regional School, supported by all parishes in the Middletown Deanery. Today, St. John Paul II continues its mission to provide rigorous academics and faith formation for PreK–8 students, drawing on its deep heritage and commitment to lifelong learning and Catholic values.
At St. John Paul II School, our commitment to academic excellence and faith formation is reflected in every number. From small class sizes to dedicated teachers, these highlights showcase the strong, Christ-centered foundation we provide for every child.
