Colin Paul Briscoe was born at St Mary's Hospital, Leeds England in
1962 to William Robert Briscoe and Edna Briscoe (Wilson). Colin is the
youngest of three - brother David Robert Briscoe and sister Janette
Susan Blackburn.
In 1967, Colin's family immigrated to Australia, and settled in New South Wales. Colin went to high school at Picton High and left school in 1977.
Colin has had a love of television shows and movies since an early age, and in particular the science fiction and horror genre.
From the age of 20, Col became involved in Doctor Who and other science fiction fan clubs, and helped out at conventions and other events.
In 2012, Colin appeared in Col Briscoe Adventurer, Chapter 9 the Giant Lizards of Connine Island (2012) as the Adventurer. This movie was an entry in the short film competition at Con 9 From Outer Space (convention) and won 2nd place.
