The moment of calm before being swallowed is always the most perplexing. One's heart is racing from the fear of being eaten alive, but the brain is also deriving a dark, twisted sense of enjoyment out of the entire experience. As the predator teases their victim, the little food item can't help but admire the surroundings of the soft, warm and plush flesh around them. They sink into the tongue, the supple, budded appendage undulating gently to support the tidbit. The slick, moist muscle conforms the the snack's form as they gaze out longingly at the outside world, framed by the fangs and teeth of the predator consuming them. Then it all goes to black as a loud clack echoes throughout the jaws, teeth interlocking and sealing the little morsel away.An absolutely lovely in stream commission I purchased from the lovely and wonderful

He could try to escape! But he might end up caught between those mighty chompers, and those would leave a bruise!
Fortunately, that would be the least of Danathius's troubles. But as soon as the dragon finds out how durable the mage is, he might just regular Danathius to a chew toy for a while before swallowing him down. XD
