The codes submenu provides users with access to two "look up" tables.

Analysis of the participants' actual interactions with the voice recording systems indicated that the lower performance scores of the older participants were largely attributable to errors associated with the inability to access the correct (i.e., final) submenu and, in those cases where the correct submenu had been accessed, with the inability to provide completely correct information, either because they omitted information or provided mistaken information.

This particular submenu has some 395 items, and I've reproduced only a few of these just to give you an idea.

To create the background, follow these steps: From the Format menu, click on Sheet, then choose Background from the submenu (see exhibit 5, at right).

The Lake Input submenu gives you a choice of loading an existing lake file, editing a lake file or creating your own lake file.

It's in a submenu, so searching is required--that didn't give us any warm fuzzies out of the box.

I like what Google's done with the Zoom choice on the menu, adding plus and minus buttons that save you from having to fly out another submenu.
