The Speaker had to temporarily adjourn proceedings yesterday as there were not enough federal lawmakers present to make
quorum.
The committee member Zana Seid said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA), "There are intensive parliamentary efforts to hold a new session on Friday afternoon to vote on the proposal for the fourth amendment to the election law," noting that "the holding of the meeting depends on the completion of the
quorum and guarantee the presence of MPs to the final vote.
