Walker and Cooper's analysis suggests that the relation between critique and potentiality has become a key battleground for critical thought: if resilience approaches offer a variety of ways for government to 'interiorize' the force of the outside--that is, to utilize a system's potential to become otherwise (Grosz, 2009) to ensure systemic meta-stability--then the possibilities for critique after resilience hinge on the ability of critical thought to counter this interiorization.
