Mirpur -- Around two dozen people were feared dead and several others reported missing on Monday after heavy rains and
flashfloods in Neelum Valley area of Azad Kashmir.
In Kurigram, about three hundred villages in low-lying areas in nine upazilas of the district went under water and many educational institutions were shut as those got swamped by
flashflood. Academic activities have remained suspended in 285 primary schools as classrooms, playgrounds and adjacent areas of those went under water.
