Systemic sclerosis (SSC) is a multisystem autoimmune connective tissue disease with a variable and unpredictable course.1 The exact etiology remains unknown, but the role of both environmental and genetic factors has been suggested.2 The disease characteristically shows vasomotor abnormalities, fibrosis and consequent inflammation.3 It presents with thickening and fibrosis of the skin and various other organs like kidneys, lungs, heart and gastrointestinal tract.4 SSC has been principally divided into two forms: limited and
diffuse SSC.
Patients with
diffuse form of gastric cancer appeared to have higher nuclear grade (p = 0.001), while patients with intestinal form of gastric cancer mostly had lower nuclear grade (Table 1).
Sky clearness is a function of
diffuse and direct normal irradiance that characterizes the optical transparency of the cloud cover, sky brightness is a function of optical air mass and
diffuse irradiance that represents the transition from overcast through partly cloudy to clear skies, and atmospheric precipitable water content (W) expressed by dew-point temperature is utilized to describe all-sky conditions.
Cause of death was recorded as yellow nail syndrome complicated by infection (lobar pneumonia) and
diffuse pleural fibrosis (immediate cause).
Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma was the most frequently observed variant (DLBCL, 60%) with frequency of bone marrow infiltration being 47.6%, followed by follicular (22.9%) with 50% bone marrow infiltration and small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL, 14.3%) with 60% bone marrow infiltration.
In patients with
diffuse pattern mean b2m level was 4.2 +- 0.84, in interstitial was 3.87 +- 0.49 while paratrabecular and random had 3.47 +- 0.28 and 3.05 +- 0.07 ug/ml respectively and the LD2 values in
diffuse, interstitial, paratrabecular and random pattern were 55.07 +- 2.97, 52.1 +- 4.99, 48.5 +- 5.06 and 45.5 +- 6.36% respectively (Table-I).
In this study, we identified localized and
diffuse RNFL defects quantitatively and objectively using the RNFL deviation map of spectral-domain OCT.
This was associated with deterioration of respiratory function, and
diffuse alveolar hemorrhage was suspected.
The blue color of the cloud-free sky is a well-known consequence of this relationship, while it is also known that radiation in the ultraviolet (UV) is even more
diffuse than blue light.
On admission, preliminary diagnosis revealed: (1)
diffuse lung disease of unknown origin, respiratory failure, (2) type 2 diabetes, and (3) schizophrenia.
Various conditions which will show adipose tissue in thyroid include heterotopic nests of adipocytes,
diffuse lipomatosis, adenolipoma, amyloid goitre, encapsulated papillary carcinoma, liposarcoma and lymphocytic thyroiditis.
Only nuclear staining for ER and PR was regarded as positive staining and scored as
diffuse (>80%), focal (10-80%), or negative (<10%).

This study documented the identity styles of 657 Canadian students in their teens; the distribution of identity styles was: information-seeking (32.9%); normative (23%); and
diffuse (44.1%).
