Another set even featured a set of 'metallic teeth' that clangorously 'attacked' the contestants as they tried to answer trick questions in only five seconds a pop.
There's no other way to explain the staging of this play's defining storm scene, in which bowling balls (or the like) are heaved clangorously from the flies, not only drowning out Hawthorne but making one fear for the actors' safety.
We aren't exactly ferocious fans of clangorously cautionary sci-fi flicks, but we make the occasional exception, especially if the speculative saga is megged by Ridley Scott, which 'Covenant' is (it's his third 'Alien' movie).
