As part of the Verb Garden programme, Ms Patience was performing a Story
Ceilidh, which is, as she explains, a tradition in Scottish culture.
Young musicians from across Stirling and Trossachs will take to the road this week as part of the Feis Fhoirt Stirling & Trossachs
Ceilidh Trail's summer tour.
MUSIC SOCIETY
CEILIDH. The highly rated and popular Sutton Bonington Music Society based at the village Campus of Nottingham University is hosting an evening of dancing and music in the form of a
ceilidh and an open mic night on Friday November 30.
Courtyard
Ceilidh is part of Summerhall's Southern Exposure - 10 days of outdoor live music and events.
As part of Festival 2018, they will be designing and delivering a
Ceilidh Trail music performance project.
TONIGHT, February 12, why not warm up with your beloved at a pre-Valentine's Day
Ceilidh in Bangor.
There's also a guest appearance by the Earlsdon Morris Men - very fitting as the event had started life as the Earlsdon
Ceilidhs in 1976 to raise funds for the morris team to tour in Sweden.
July 30:
Ceilidh on Caledonia; Financial services reception; University of Edinburgh reception.
THE Light Nights
Ceilidh in St George's Hall last Friday was a roaring success, with the hall almost packed, with hundreds of locals, visitors and tourists all having a great time, dancing away.
Sele Park in the town will welcome a visit that day from The Travelling Museum of British Folklore - housed inside a painted caravan - and there'll be a
ceilidh at the park's bandstand, a big, informal affair with plenty room to dance - and picnic.
The
ceilidh will run from 7.30-10.30pm at The Fellowship Hall, West Street, Yarm-on-Tees.
UNLIKE anything seen in the mainstream dance and traditional folk worlds, Monster
Ceilidh Band are melding old and new with
ceilidhs held to 70's disco classics or in rave-style UV light.
Then attend one of the many
ceilidhs and Celtic festivals held throughout the country.
Crossroads
ceilidhs were a popular rural pastime in Ireland, when young men and women would gather on a Sunday evening at the crossroads of a village to socialise.
New Year celebrations will also include family
ceilidhs at the Tolbooth - the Hogmanay
Ceilidh at the Albert Halls and two outdoor evening events on Stirling Castle esplanade.
