In the United States alone, there are now more than 150 million wireless subscribers, according to Philip Marmina, managing director for North American real estate applications at Azonic. "Most of those subscribers use their wireless devices at work," he said.
Yet those who work at AOL Time Warner's seven-building, 1.5-million-square-foot campus in Dulles, VA no longer experience cell service interruptions, he said, following installation of Azonic's system, which gives them access to 16 wireless applications from 11 different service providers.
Oxford Properties, principal owner of World Bank Plaza in downtown Toronto's financial district, bought into that thinking when it signed with Azonic Networks to wire this two-tower complex.
