penumbral eclipse (lighter part of the shadow) lasted for 6hrs, 13min and 48sec while the umbral eclipse when moon was at the shadow's dark centre lasted for 3hrs, 54min, 32sec and the total lunar eclipse clocked in 1hr, 42min, 57sec.

Partial eclipse will end at 01:19 and the

In Philippine time, PAGASA predicts that the lunar eclipse will start with the

Just recently we had a Black Moon and before that was a Harvest Moon that happened at the same time as a
penumbral eclipse.

penumbral eclipse occurs when the Moon passes through the faint penumbral portion of the Earth's shadow,' Pagasa said.
And if you're up at 6am, the
penumbral eclipse, when the moon travels through the outer part of the Earth's shadow, ends at 6.22am.
This is called a
penumbral eclipse and the occasions when the alignment is perfect are called an umbral eclipse.

penumbral eclipse on a full moon day will be visible throughout country today.
This time, the moon will pass only through Earth's outer shadow or penumbra and we will just see a
penumbral eclipse. Beginning at around 9pm the moon will not fully emerge from Earth's shadow until 2am.
