LCFS updated its policies to prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity and
gender expression. In addition, widespread changes were made within the organization's culture, practices and training in order to transform into a welcoming agency.
On January 25, 2019, New York State passed the
Gender Expression Nondiscrimination Act ("GENDA"), which extends protections for transgender and nongender-conforming persons by explicitly adding gender identity and expression as a protected class under the New York Human Rights Law.
This would include bullying, abuse, or harassment, on the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity,
gender expression, or HIV status.
Gender expression is an external display, usually through clothing, attitudes, or body language, that may or may not fit into socially recognized masculine or feminine categories.
Thus it is important to research, develop and capture the stories/experiences of our communities to ensure the narrative of sexual orientation, gender identity, and
gender expression is shared to build a society of tolerance and diversity.

In addition to the standard YRBS questions, students at these three school districts were asked about their

1326, the "Safe Streets and Public Spaces Act of 2017,'' seeks to penalize catcalling, wolf-whistling, cursing, leering, groping, persistent requests for name and contact details and the use of words tending to ridicule on the basis of actual or perceived sex,
gender expression, or sexual orientation and identity in public spaces.
'We are pushing for the SOGIE bill because once it becomes a law, it would protect all Filipinos from discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity or

It is unlawful for an institution, whether private or public, to discriminate against a person on the basis of their sex, gender identity and/or
gender expression, the Act states.

To this day, transgender persons in BiH are being discriminated against in many areas of their personal life because of their gender identity and
gender expression, and are left on their own to face the legal vacuum that exists in the field of legal regulation of gender change.
Our written policy prohibits harassment of any employee by any supervisor, employee, member, or vendor on the basis of sex, gender identity, or
gender expression. Employees who feel they have experienced conduct that violates this policy may immethately report the matter to their supervisor.
