As of June 1st, I'm no longer with the Linux Foundation. While I'll share more details about this transition in a future post, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on what comes next.
Going through an acquisition is intense, especially when you're leaving what was truly your favorite job. The experience has been both professionally enriching and personally challenging, and I've realized how important it is to give yourself permission to pause and process major changes rather than immediately jumping into the next thing.
So that's exactly what I'm doing this summer: taking a pragmatic approach to my career and family life. I'm giving myself time to breathe, to explore opportunities I didn't have bandwidth for before, and to be intentional about my next steps.
What's Coming This Summer
My primary focus for the coming months will be diving deep into AI tools and their practical applications. I've been wanting to explore more AI tools, but I haven’t had the time to until now. As someone who's spent considerable time thinking about content strategy and audience development, I'm fascinated by how AI is reshaping not just what we create, but how we create it.
You can expect a lot of AI-related content from me in the weeks ahead. I don’t have an exact plan mapped out, so it might be everything from tool reviews and practical use cases to my thoughts on how these technologies are changing the content landscape.
Looking Forward
I'll have more to share about my long-term plans soon, but for now, I'm embracing this period of exploration. Thanks for following along on this journey. The next few months should be interesting.

Thank you for sharing such a heartfelt transition. It’s inspiring to see someone step back to reflect and prioritize purpose over pressure. Wishing you all the best in this new chapter — may it bring clarity, fulfillment, and joy. Keep breathing, and keep being awesome ✨
Thanks so much!
Congratulations, enjoy the summer.
man, always takes guts to actually hit pause and figure out your next move instead of rushing into something new. you think real growth comes more from stepping back like this, or just grinding forward nonstop?
I think you can grow in either situation, but you have to be deliberate about making sure you're growing and not just sprinting to keep up. My 13yo was in a bad accident a couple of weeks ago, so this was a real moment of reflection for me on what's important and what I want to be doing in my life.
Sorry about heard that, hope you get best lucky.
It may be a traumatic experience to the victim of an online investment fraud, however preventing & protecting oneself against any possible scams in the future involves the improvement of one’s financial knowledge & the safety protocols of the reliable asset recovery platform whom he/she has chosen . Become aware with basic tips that may help one avoid being conned, like attractively high and low risk assurance of high returns and high pressure to invest. In my time of despair & regrets,I had no guidance or article that suggested ‘hackers’ as a way out, so if I were you I’d consider this piece of information ‘vital’. In spite of the emotional & financial damage I battled with mentally, i still managed to make a legal report to the cryptocurrency regulatory authority within my jurisdiction; who then pointed me to “VALOR HACK RECOVERY TEAM ” direction as an off the book guaranteed solution to my report.

Enjoy your time mate!
Congratulations
Taking a pause after a big chapter like that sounds so important - I'm excited to see which AI tools or ideas you dive into first! Any particular use case at the top of your mind right now?
I have a blog post coming out this week on how I'm approaching things!
Pretty cool, honestly love seeing someone take a real pause like this and dive into new things at their own speed
