Hello all, I have a 1972 F250 highboy with the 390fe. It has always ran great for me, aside from eating a distributor and I’ve taken it on multiple road trips.
I drove it for a good 3 hour drive...

The batteries are fully charged. The glow plug indicator light does not come on when I turn the key to the on position. I have not tested the glow plugs.

Thanks, Spurredon. It looks like the gasket from NAPA has an extra bolt, but I should be able to cut that piece off and make this work.

I was driving my 1994 F-150 XLT with the 302 this past Sunday when all of a sudden, 20 minutes or so into the drive, I noticed some hesitation. This went away and then came back maybe 15...
Definitely not getting springs from a dealer around here. They like to tack on an additional 2000% just for breathing the air. :rolleyes:
