Pest Control: (Location Name) is an Institute radiant quest in Fallout 4.

Detailed Walkthrough[edit]
Speak with Dr. Alan Binet over at Institute Robotics (at night he will be in his quarters). Agree to eliminate some Feral Ghouls causing problems for a Synth scavenger team.
Travel to the location now indicated on the Pip-Boy, and kill the marked Feral Ghoul. Return to Binet and tell him the quest was successful. At this point, one can pass a Charisma check to receive ten Pre-War Money as a bonus. This quest can be repeated every other day after being finished.

Bugs[edit]
- Prior to Patch 1.3, the location selected could include established settlements at Croup Manor, Jamaica Plain or Sunshine Tidings Co-op, which did not allow for Feral Ghouls to spawn. The patch added a condition that uses the
LocTypeWorkshopSettlementkeyword and requires it to be 0, allowing only locations that are not an active settlement to be selected for the quest. - Binet may never give the quest at all. He will just say his regular lines when speaking to him.
- Binet may just give the quest reward and XP prior to accepting the quest.
