Fidei Defensor is a main quest in the Fallout 4 mod Fallout London.
Walkthrough[edit]
If the Wayfarer chose to escort Archie to his new home at the end of Lands of the Seraph, he will be present during this quest.
Progress to St Paul's Cathedral and talk to the Frenchman. He refuses to open the doors for the Wayfarer, because Hooligans regularly attack. He is not even swayed by a plea for Archie.
Hooligans will attack during the conversation. As soon as these enemies are eliminated, talk to the Frenchman again. He asks the Wayfarer to get rid of the Hooligan Boss, a character named Violent Violet.
Speak to Lyle Tudor, a guard at the gate. He asks the Wayfarer to spare the other Hooligans. He revels a alternative way to reach Violet without bloodshed, a crack in the wall.
Progress to the Guildhall and deal with Violent Violet by wiping out her and all of her hooligans.
Alternatively, sneak downstairs through the novice locked door in the entryway. Read the note DO NOT TOUCH. Drop through the hole in the floor and attack the boards covering the crack in the wall. Violet will run into the hallway, which is contaminated with Tunnel Cough gas, to ambush the Wayfarer and she will perish from the exposure. Sneak back out of the Guildhall.
When the Wayfarer returns to the Frenchman, Hooligans are attacking again. Help eliminate them in order to enter St Paul's Cathedral. If Violet died from "natural" causes, the Wayfarer can inform Lyle the rest of the gang was spared and he will express gratitude. If the Wayfarer killed everyone, Lyle will express disappointment.
Once inside the Sanctuary, proceed into the main atrium. Climb the ladder up to the pulpit and talk to Bishop Whaler about Lazarus. The Bishop will congratulate the Wayfarer on a job well done and offer a reward of 200 Tickets. A speech check of [Charisma 7] allows this to be raised to 300 Tickets. This completes the quest.
Bugs[edit]
As of update 1.03, will be corrected in a future patch.
- Quest may not progress after escaping using the subtle approach of uncovering the crack in the wall instead of killing everyone.
- Workaround:
To progress without workarounds the player can wait for Violent Violet to die of Tunnel Cough before leaving the Guildhall. Or open the console and use the SetStage FOLON_MQ105 60 command to bypass the bugged stages and trigger the next objective.
