Catching Up is a faction side quest in the Fallout 4 mod Fallout London.
Walkthrough[edit]
The main goal is to fetch some books from the local library for Sabertooth Syd.
The quest becomes available after successfully protecting the Swan & Mitre and eliminating the scout who managed to escape. Once these tasks are completed, the player should speak with "Sabertooth" Syd in the Swan & Mitre to learn about his plan and formally begin the quest. Syd will provide the player with information and direct them to the Churchill Library, where they must locate the necessary books.
Library Wing[edit]
To access the section of the library containing the Children's Books, the player must first head to the top floor where the Chief Librarian's Office is located. Inside the office, the Churchill Library Book Room Key can be found on the librarian's desk. It is important to exercise caution when opening the office door, as it is rigged with a shotgun trap; the player should stand to one side to avoid triggering it. Once inside, the player can take the shotgun for personal use, along with any other unsecured items. After retrieving the key, the player should check the terminal for additional information about the library's operations. With the key in hand, the player can proceed to the door leading to the Churchill Library Right Wing, located on the same floor. This section of the library contains the Children's Books that Syd requested.
Dove's Dilemma[edit]
Upon entering the Right Wing, the player will notice a ramp ahead. They should eliminate the incoming Ghouls before using the ramp to ascend to the upper level. Once at the top, the player should turn around and look for a cardboard box placed on top of a shelf. Moving the box aside will reveal Dove's Dilemma hidden underneath. After taking the book, the player must continue collecting additional children's books from this section of the library to complete the collection for Syd. These books are Little Miss Uranium, The Very Radiated Caterpillar and Larry Crocker and the Chamber of Fission. When the four books have been gathered, the player can return to Syd to finish the quest.
