Unique to the region, the Joshua tree thrives in the climate, covering the valleys and mountains alike. Dotting the landscape in every direction, these trees serve as cover during raider gang skirmishes.[Pub 1]

Behind the scenes[edit]
The Joshua tree is based on the real world Yucca brevifolia, serving as the major indicator species of the Mojave Desert.
