No IGD here, but then again I got my turntable professionally aligned. Vinyl was flat and silent, maybe i just got a good one. Compares favourably with my 1980 German pressing.

Roksan Xerxes, Caspian pre, Naim supernait and Focal 926's.

cool artifact to be had, but the US RL cut is a far better sounding pressing, find a clean one of those and rest easy knowing you have the best

The 1980 Albert Productions Australian pressing (APLP-040) reads cleaner on 'Hells Bells', the bell intro keeps a bit of room reverb that the US Atlantic pressing flattens. Engineer credit: Tony Platt, Compass Point Studios (Bahamas). Mark Opitz mastered.

Highly recommend the original Australian over the US Atlantic if you can find it; the Aus pressings ran a tighter mastering chain on the early batches before they switched to a different cutter.

My copy appears to match this pressing, but it comes in a Spanish sleeve. I bought it new when it was released. Crisp sound, low-quality printing.

Sounds way above average it's a digital cut I'm almost certain but it's punchy and quiet vinyl. I'm impressed, original RL sounds better but this is close
