Wire – Chairs Missing

GOT A BEAUTIFUL COPY FOR SALE, HIT ME UP IF INTERESTED!

I've noticed that many of these German editions are for sale without their original inner sleeve. But they're all in good or excellent condition, just like mine. The lp's have clearly been well cared for. Why would such an inner sleeve be lost then? So, could there also have been a German edition without an inner sleeve?

Both of my 2018 reissues of Pink Flag and Chairs Missing sound great overall and the pressings are very quiet as well.

I originally held out on getting these Wire special editions since I owned the Original Masters remasters since they came out but I couldn't resist and eventually scooped them up. Even at current inflated OOP prices they're worth it! The books are well designed, very insightful and have all the abstruse lyrics, even for bonus tracks. I especially appreciate having all the ancillary contemporary EP, singles, b-sides etc as they have that 70s Wire level of quality. Soundwise I think these are an improvement over the 2006 remasters, keep in mind those are my only frame of reference though. I will say that the complaints about the CD holders are legit, especially for the 3rd disc of the Chairs Missing and 154 sets, it's hard to tell if the CD was already scratched up or the mere act of taking out dings it up every time. My other (minor) complaint: why did they frame the album covers in white? I think 3 of the best album covers of all time wouldve looked great blown up...then again I'm not a graphic designer.

This is a really nice pressing with superb dynamics and little to no background noise. My third BioVinyl record and so far I'm impressed with the quality.

Warped. Two labels placed on side 1. The label placed on top of the one underneath is completely off centered. Are they kidding me? This is their best album. It's better than Pink Flag

Yep labels wrong way round but a nice clean sound with no warping at all.
A classic album from a group that deserve all the attention they now rightly receive.

Worth it for the bonus tracks and the neat book packaging.
Does the actual album sound better than an original vinyl pressing ? The jury is still out on that. I’m detecting some compression on this reissue
