Great to see this classic Acid Punk album back in circulation. However, if like myself you have the Vinyl - stick with that!

This release (although appreciated and most welcome for those of us who were there to see the incredible chaos and glorious madness of numerous ICU gigs back in the eighties) has had the tracks edited, tampered with and the sound has no crisp warmth and channel spacing.

I completely agree with John Hughes comment in the Liner notes that if he didn't do then it would have become an analogue memory and thank you John and Fred!

This was a criminally underrated band from their beginning to their end and this album was the high point of their studio work. I'm not going to review the music as it speaks for itself. Had this release been unedited and not tampered with it would be excellent, without question.

      Missed opportunity.

Seems like my labels are on the wrong sides! For £500 and a mint correctly labeled copy, this super rarity can be yours!

I've loved this album ever since it came out in 1981, in fact my love of it has grown over the years. BUT this 'remaster' on Gonzo Multimedia really doesn't sound right at all! Something has definitely gone wrong at some point and it sounds muddy and muffled, losing all the sparkling clarity of the original vinyl. I don't usually worry too much about sound quality so I was surprised how much this bugged me. Someone give the world a re-release that does justice to the original! Come on Cherry Red, or didn't 'Punkadelic' shift enough units? For now stick to the original vinyl. I haven't heard Judge Trev's CDr release of it a few years ago, but he didn't bother with the cover etc. so just upload your vinyl!

Comfortably the best release by ICU, in my opinion anyway. Bones of Elvis and Sid's Song especially titillate my earbuds.
