      It's probably the label or the Otis Redding estate that enforced the "featuring" credit here. But I think this new trend is so ridiculous, considering that a SAMPLE is never a proper recorded duet or performance where someone played something together.

          Samples the bass and vocals from Steely Dan's "Peg" and Otis Redding's whistle from "Sitting On The Dock Of The Bay". From all De La tracks, Eye Know is one of my favs.
          De La Soul was groundbreaking when it came to blending old soul samples into friendly, relaxing and positive rap tunes, and this is one of their best examples.
