A very good album. One of my favorite AP recordings. The vinyl is pretty good. Small amount of noise, but overall good with a wide soundstage and great dynamics. I bought the box set because I found it cheaper than the vinyl by itself. I gave it 4 stars simply for the fact, they placed the vinyl in these really tight cheap paper inner sleeves and pulling it out, scuffed the vinyl. That's disappointing and probably added to the noise on a near quiet vinyl. I wish if they were going to sell the expensive vinyl sets, they would spend a few pennies more for better inners.
A great come back from Alan Parsons! Nothing to throw in this album. The vinyl is near perfect. I love this wonderful gift from Alan after fifteen years without any release...
Yes I agree - there are some great tracks on this album and the pressing is superb.
All of the post APP albums are superbly pressed - On Air (blue) and The Time Machine (clear) are wickedly good.
Weirdly I have the el cheapo black vinyl and the blue pressing of The Secret and the black pressing is better - it is louder and has a bigger soundstage.- Isn't anyone gonna comment on this fantastic release? What a great album in typical Parsons fashion by using various talented vocalists and wonderful various instrumentation and styles. Truly one of the most talented musical artists of our time. Had the pleasure of seeing the band in the midwest US 4 times and am hoping for a 5th in Michigan later this year if covid ever dies down. If you're a true fan pick up this cool blue vinyl version now before they're long gone since only 200 were pressed or get the box set or just get both.

I bought this when it came out. Bought the whole box set. T-shirt 2 dvd's and a CD plus a record.album/vinyl.
I have listened to it four or five times on Youtube. Played the CD a few times But until tonight after opening the record and playing it a good number of times.. 5--- 6 both sides a few times then the other. Just wow. The record is the bomb..
