* * For (unofficial) releases use this label: Ranwood (2)
Label Code: LC 1280 / LC 01280
Both men had left Dot after the parent company Paramount Pictures' sale to Gulf + Western. Though it primarily re-issued older albums by Welk originally on the Dot and Coral labels, it also released albums by Welk's musical compatriots as well as recordings by Ray Anthony and The Charles Randolph Grean Sound.

In 2009, the Welk Music Group signed a distribution deal with Capitol Records which also includes the Vanguard label's pop and folk material, which it has owned since 1985.

The label's name is a contraction of Randy Wood's name.
