American bass player. Born May 9, 1950 in Rockford, Illinois.
In 1974, Petersson co-founded Cheap Trick with Rick Nielsen. Prior to that, Petersson played in a number of bands, including the Bol Weevils, the Grim Reapers, Sick Man of Europe, and Fuse. He has also worked with Bill Lloyd, Coinship, Concrete Blonde, Donovan, Edan Everly, Foster and Lloyd, Frank Black, Harry Nilsson, members of The Mavericks, Mick Jagger, and Willie Nelson, and appeared in The Ramones' 1986 music video "Something to Believe In".
