Droopy (English)

Notes:

Created by animation legend Tex Avery, this diminutive sad-sack of a hound faces-off against a variety of different wolf and bulldog adversaries and always emerges victorious. His emotionless monotone voice belies his clever and sometimes violent nature.

Drawn once by Carl Barks in the early stages of "The Duck Man's" career, Droopy may be best known in comic books for a long series of one-page pantomime gags drawn by Harvey Eisenberg.
