Advertisement and comics-form advertising sequences for Hostess snack products appear commonly through Archie, DC, Harvey, Marvel, Western Publishing and possibly others. These are divided into four features:
- Hostess (no product mentioned), occurs at least 1200 times.
- Hostess Fruit Pies, occurs at least 1100 times.
- Hostess Cup Cakes, occurs at least 750 times.
- Hostess Twinkies, occurs at least 1500 times.
Most appear during March 1975 through April 1982.
