Captain Midnight (English)

Notes:

Captain Jim "Red" Albright, known as Captain Midnight, began as a radio show in 1938, eventually appearing in a movie serial in 1942 and a television show in 1954.

In comic strips, the character first appeared through the Chicago Sun Syndicate on June 29, 1942, as Captain Midnight and the Secret Squadron.

In comic books, Captain Midnight first appeared in The Funnies (Dell, 1936 Series) #57 (July 1941) and a year later being reworked by another publisher into a more superhero-looking character appearing in its own series, Captain Midnight (Fawcett, 1942 Series) #1 (September 30, 1942).

Captain Midnight stories have been reprinted frequently and the characters have been rebooted by Moonstone, in 2013, and Dark Horse, also in 2013.
