Ebony White (English)

Ebony White is an African-American boy, rather short. He was the Spirit’s assistant for several years.

Ebony White is a fictional character created in 1946 by Will Eisner (b. 1917), as part of his series The Spirit. He first appeared in the Spirit's very first story, published in The Spirit (Register and Tribune Syndicate, 1940 series) #6/2/1940 [Philadelphia Record] (June 2, 1940).
