The candidates vying for the 18th Legislative District House Position 2 seat diverge on how to address some of the biggest issues facing Clark County, including education, homelessness and the effort to replace the Interstate 5 Bridge.
A traffic signal was removed from the intersection of state Highway 500 and Northeast 54th Avenue in 2018. Construction of a new pedestrian crossing at the intersection began earlier this summer and is expected to be completed early next year.
