Taco John’s migrates enterprise to the cloud
A leading Mexican quick-service restaurant is cloud-enabling operations to modernize back-end workflows while enhancing customer experience.
Taco John’s has fully deployed its core solutions, including POS, loyalty and digital ordering, to a cloud-based platform. The retailer says this modernized architecture has increased operational agility, allowing it to roll out limited-time offers, pricing updates and cross-channel promotions more efficiently and consistently across brick-and-mortar and digital channels.
According to Taco John’s, this results in an ability to follow a dynamic and responsive marketing approach while also optimizing employee workload.
Beyond core system integration, Taco John's is also running strategic pilot programs focused on franchisee readiness and long-term impact. Taking a phased approach, the pilot allows the company to test and refine cloud-based technology advancements, including stronger analytics and workflow optimization, before broader implementation, using a consistent flow of feedback from franchisees and employees.
Looking ahead and supporting growth
So far, loyalty and rewards enhancements have been a core component of Taco John’s enterprise transformation initiative. However, Taco John's sees opportunity to further leverage data and automation to enhance operational performance and elevate customer experience by using scalable, easy-to-adapt solutions that can be seamlessly integrated into the company’s existing systems.
Taco John’s also intends to support its strategic nationwide expansion plans using its revamped cloud architecture as a foundation. Currently operating 324 locations across 21 states, the Wyoming-based retailer says it sees strong growth potential in the Upper Midwest and Rocky Mountain regions for both new and multi-unit operators and also recently opened several new locations in Massachusetts.
