Rio Ferdinand, Petr Cech and Tony Adams have been inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame.

Former Manchester United and England defender Ferdinand, 44, won six titles in 12 years at Old Trafford and also played for Leeds, West Ham and QPR.

Cech, 40, won four Premier League titles with Chelsea. He holds the record for the most clean sheets in the Premier League with 202 in 443 games.

Adams, 56, spent the whole of his 19-year playing career at Arsenal.

Ferdinand made his debut aged 17 under Harry Redknapp at West Ham and spent a short time on loan at Bournemouth before joining Leeds United.

He joined Manchester United for a then British record transfer in 2002 - and won the Champions League and Club World Cup under Sir Alex Ferguson.

He also won 81 caps for England having made his debut aged 19.

United released Ferdinand in 2014 and he moved to QPR, but was unable to save them from relegation before his retirement in May 2015.

Former Czech Republic international Cech, 40, made his Premier League debut in 2004 for Chelsea, having joined from French club Rennes, and won the Champions League in addition to four domestic titles during his 11 years at Stamford Bridge.

He holds a joint record of four Premier League Golden Gloves - for the most clean sheets in a season -and is the only goalkeeper to win the award with two clubs.

With 124 caps, Cech is the most capped player in Czech history.

He left the Blues in June 2015 to spend four years with Arsenal before retiring in 2019.

Adams, who became Arsenal's captain at 21, led them to two domestic titles before the Premier League's inception - in 1989, when they were crowned champions with a dramatic injury time goal against Liverpool at Anfield, and in 1991, when they lost just one league match all season.

He then captained the club to Premier League titles in 1998 and 2002, retiring shortly after that last triumph.

Adams also captained England, winning 66 caps.
