It's rare that an untrustworthy memoir is interesting, but 'Gordon Lonsdale' turns in an intriguing account of his spying exploits in the UK during the Cold War. The problem is, you can't believe half of it as he has stuck to details which were later admitted to having been concocted as part of his spy cover. He turned out to by Kolon Molody, a Russian citizen whose treachery was even celebrated on a USSR postage stamp.
