I am so excited to have finally got my hands on Gigi. I ordered here directly through amazon so of course I could not pick out the doll which is proving to be more of a gamble these days. She is adorable, but I was soooo sad to find that there are a few quality control issues. The doll I got has flaws in the paint on her lips, and with her hair. There are large noticeable gaps between the hair plugs all along the hairline. This hair flaw seems quite common as I have seen many photos of Gigi with this issue. Regardless...I will start with the review. I love her bubble gum pink skintone. It is very pretty. Her hair is a very dark pink in the front, and a burnt orange/bronzey color in the back. Her hair is drawn into a high ponytail on top of her head and wraps around into a curl at the end. To me it looks reminiscent of a scorpion's tail which fits in with the genie theme and her pet. On her upper chest she has a hot pink scorpion design painted on (it is the same design as on her earrings). I am not sure if this is supposed to be a permanent tattoo or a representation of Mendhi. All over her body she has little lines molded right into her skin. It looks almost armor like. Her nails are very long and pointy. Again, this reminds me very much of a scorpion. It seems that she is either meant to be part scorpion, or at the very least look like one. Her face paint is quite pretty. She has light blue eyes, and light blue shadow lining her upper and lower eyelids. She has shimmering gold shadow from the crease of her eye up to her eyebrow. She has a dusting of freckles on each of her cheeks. Her lips are a glossy very deep pink shade that is very similar to the shade of her hair. As I said above, my doll has a little paint flaw on her top lip. There is some overspray of the color onto her face and the lipline is choppy and uneven. It is not horrible, but it is certainly noticeable. On her chin she has the most adorable little dimple. Her ears are very pointy and she has metallic gold earrings with a molded scorpion design. She wears matching metallic gold bracelets on each wrist. Her jumpsuit is very detailed. The bodice is metallic blue on the right side, and metallic hot pink on the right. She has a black with gold glitter cummerbund style waistband. The bottom half of the jumpsuit is black harem pant style knee length pantaloons with intricate metallic gold designs. Her shoes are bright hot pink and have a heeless/gravity wedge styling. Her shoes also have little curled up points at the toe!! They do not have gold on the wedge as shown, but do have a gold buckle across her instep. She has her metallic gold "lantern". Her pet Sultan Sting is a purple scorpion. He is quite cute and detailed right down to his little pinchers and stinger!! She comes with a black stand, black brush, and her diary. Overall Gigi is absolutely adorable, I just wish Mattel didn't drop the ball on quality control again.

Got this thing for a fair price. Looks great and just is fun. The 13 wishes dolls seem to me to be a pretty decent sculpt and come with a decent amount of accessories. If you can get this one for a decent price pick it up as it seems to be the difficult one to locate. I really like the joints on these things as they are extremely flexible. I also like that you can remove limbs and mess around with them. Remember that if you are getting these for the younger crowd.

I think I love these dolls almost as much as my daughter. The details are amazing. They are each so unique in coloring, clothing and overall style. My daughter is thrilled that the dolls in this series come with pets. She wishes she had pets for all the dolls. (Mattel - ever consider selling the pets on your website?) I managed to pick her up when she was in stock on Amazon, so I purchased her at a reasonable price. I'm saving this one for Christmas, but I'm sure that my daughter will be thrilled.

Removed a star only cuz the hair was sticky from melted glue… either from the age or heat not sure lol. But other than that she came with everything! She was still in the box when I received her!

My Granddaughter loves the Monster High Dolls! She lives about 3000 miles from me :( but we Skye when ever she receives a package from her Grandma :) I just love to see the smile on her face when opens her packages. Anyway, she wanted to undo her hair and I told her go ahead lets see how much hair she has (the dolls hair was wrapped up in a band) I was surprised to see how much hair this doll has! My Granddaughter is 6yrs old and she loves to comb the hair on her dolls so I was very happy to see how long her hair was. The clothing and accessories were nice as well! This doll is very nice and durable as well! You can't go wrong buying this product for any child :)

We LOVE Gigi Grant the daughter of the Genie! Her hair is very tall and she looks just like the cartoon movie version. I love her long nails and the texture/pattern of her skin. Her little purple scorpion pet is cute. Her golden lantern is a bit small, but it does open. I wish they would make a shadow genie (Wisp Grant) doll. My daughter always loves the vilians of all the fairy tales. And all she talks about is how much Gigi misses her shadow genie. So I guess if Matell doesn't get on board soon with making a shadow genie I will have to make one out of another Gigi.... Also, the character fawn at the beginning of the 13 Wishes cartoon movie should have been made into a doll. They make Catty Noir at the end; but not the Fawn character that opens the movie.... Overall, we are really happy with this Gigi Grant genie Monster High addition!

My daughters love these dolls; I personally think the design should be rethought. I understand they are monsters but their limbs detach rather easily and due to their small size the girls are usually unable to find the limbs. This results in more then 1 dozen dolls all missing body parts.

Gigi Grant is a new MH character and is part of the 13 Wishes doll line. Gigi has a towering segmented ponytail that is dark pink on the top side and copper colored beneath. Gigi has pink skin with molded in segment lines on her body, arms and legs (to match her purple pet scorpion Sultan Sting). She has long fingers with very long fingernails and long elf pointed ears. Gigi has bright ice blue eyes, a scattering of freckles, a chin dimple and a quizzical facial expression similar to Rochelle Goyle. Her eye makeup is blue and shimmery gold and her lips are a dark pink berry color. Gigi also has a pink arabesque scorpion design tattoo on the upper part of her chest.

Her accessories include a gold genie lamp, gold bracelets and earrings and very cool pink curly toed platform shoes. Gigi is wearing high waisted black harem pants that end at the knee featuring more arabesque scorpion designs in metallic gold. She wears a bi-colored metallic top that is half blue and half pink trimmed in black and gold. Gigi comes with her diary, her pet scorpion, a hairbrush and a doll stand.

According to her bio this new Monster High character is approximately 15 years old, is claustrophobic, and loves hummus. She doesn't just grant one wish when released from her lamp - she grants 13 - that all come with a dark side. Gigi is a fun new addition to the monster high universe, the Daughter of the Genie is an interesting addition.

I ordered this for my child's birthday as they are mad on Monster High, and had just seen the 13 wishes film. I was really impressed with the quality of the doll. My child loved it. It was definitely worth the money.

I would recommend this product. It was received in perfect condition. I could not find any of these dolls and my grand-daughter's birthday is around the corner. She has been asking for this doll for her birthday and always looked on the shelves in the stores with a big dissapointment on her little face. Now I can't wait to give it to her on her birthday and see the smile on her face. Thank You!.

I love this doll. Shes certainly a must have to add to your collection especially if you have watched the 13 wishes monster high movie. You can also buy Haunt of the casbah clawdeen wolf, draculaura and frankie stien delux versions who are also characters from the movie. The dolls are lovely. Gigi in particular is a new character in the monster high family and comes with her cute pet scorpion sultan and her magic lamp purse. She also comes with a stand and diary.
