つまり、読書の成果は、
自分の課題を解決する本を選べるかどうかで
「8割決まる」ということです。

そして、自分が読むべき本を選んだら、次のように読みます。

①「１回あたりの読む時間」を短くして、とにかく「回転数」を上げる（同じ本を10回、速く読む）
②理解したことをA4用紙1枚に「要約」してみる（要約とは「要点＝問い×答え×根拠」をまとめること）

この2つのうち特に大切なのが②の「要約」。

要約をまとめる際に注意したいのは、
本の文章をそのまま抜き書きしてメモを作ってしまうこと。
これは禁じ手です。
そうではなく、
自分の言葉に置き換えるとともに、
「問い」「答え」「根拠」を「構造化」してまとめるのです。

こうすることで、
本の内容をひとまとまりの「構造体」として把握でき、
頭の中にずっと残りつづけ、
知識やスキルを自分の血肉にできるのです。
もちろん、まとめ方（構造化）は本書の中でじっくり丁寧に解説しています。

    もともと読書は好きで、年間それなりの冊数を読んできました。ただ、読み終わったあとに「で、何が残った？」という感覚を抱えていたのも正直なところです。

    著者の本山氏はXやnoteでも精力的に情報発信をしており、そちらをフォローしている方には「おおむね想像の範囲内」という印象を持つかもしれません。私自身もそう感じた部分があり、「この内容ならnoteでも読めたかも」と思ったのが正直なところです。そのため、著者の発信をすでにキャッチアップしている方には、目新しさという点で少し物足りなさがあるかもしれません。

    最近読書量が増えてきて、さらに効率的に学びを得ようと思い手に取りました。本書の前半に書いてあるアウトプットありきの読書はとても参考になった。

    ゲームを始める時にいきなり説明書を読んでも分からないし、読もうとも思わない。まず手に取るのはゲームコントローラ。とりあえずまず始めると、分からないことが出てくる。そうなって初めて説明書を読む。ゲームの全体像は分かっているから理解は早いし、分からないことも明確。アウトプットが先にあるとインプットはとても効果的になる。

    これをゲームでない、仕事や実生活で取り入れるのは少し工夫がいるかもしれない。まずは自分がやりたいことや与えられた課題を明確にして読書に臨むことが第一歩だと理解した。

    本書後半の良書の定義は、前半とは異なる話題であることもありあまり響かなかった。
