Hilary Putnam introduced the idea of the threefold relation between mind, body and world that it is necessary to take into consideration to adequately account for human perception and understanding. Recent philosophical debates on aesthetic practices that are characteristic of the present age have paid great attention to the fundamental role played by the body in our world-experience and, in case of the aesthetics of fashion (as part of the investigation of aesthetic experiences that have acquired an extraordinary power and significance in today’s widely aestheticized world), also to the essential role played by dress to understand the human beings’ particular relation to their own bodies. Critical Studies in fashion and beauty, 2010

While critical views inherited from the past still influence our appraisal of fashion, its pervasiveness in contemporary society calls for an explanation. In this article I attempt to show how the importance of fashion in our society is the result of a combination of a structurally modern space and Romantic cultural ideals. I conclude that, despite its frivolous appearance, fashion is not only a powerful social indicator, but also a particular means of bringing together the diverse and often contradictory demands of our human nature through a peculiar exercise of practical judgment.

Almost 20 years have passed since Joanne Entwhistle (2000) described dress as an "embodied practice" in an earlier issue of this journal. The term deconstructivism was first used in reference to fashion when Bill Cunningham applied it in the March 1990 issue of Details. (Hodge, Gill) In her 1993 article Coming Apart, Amy M. Spindler refers to deconstructivism as ‘the end of fashion as we know it’. In her words, the reluctant leader of the ‘revolutionary movement’ was Martin Margiela — the pioneer of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Belgium.1 The fashion processes that brought to the use of the term deconstructivism, however, initiated much earlier. Almost a decade before the pivotal moment described by Spindler — Margiela’s show in a vacant lot in Paris in October ’89 when finally, press and buyers fully understood that deconstructionism had arrived2 —Rai Kawakubo and Yohji Yamamoto had their breakthrough in Paris.

The purpose of our study was to examine “Why People want to look different”. The previous study indicates that the people always want to change in their appearance according to the change in social environmental factors and also there was a great change due to the cultural factors. This study also focus that people have more purchasing power is more fashion oriented. It is a psyche of people they want to bring change in their behavior as well as their living style and they want to look unique in their environment. Fashion usually newest creation made by designer and or bought by a few number of people. Fashion consciousness refers to the relationship between the mind and the world with which it interacts. It is subjectivity awareness the ability to experience or to feel wakefulness, having a sense of self hood.
