A VG copy just made £56, including postage, on the bay. Not bad as the RRPG (Rarely Reliable Price Guide) values it at £15.

@ppint. I assume you mean the Crew-Cuts' version was a bigger US hit than the original, rather than the Johnston Brothers' version, which I don't think charted in Billboard!

Pity the rest of the group: the sheet music only shows lead singer Johnny Johnston.

The Crew Cuts had this in the UK charts in 1954 as a Mercury 78 courtesy of Oriole.

uk cover version of the (new york) chords' original hit, or of the crew-cuts' cover version (the original hit doesn't seem to've been picked up by any uk label), which was a bigger US hit than was the chords' atlantic/cat original.
