Yūma Kuga 3 (空閑 遊真 ➂ Kuga Yūma 3 ?) is Chapter 5 of the World Trigger Manga.
Short summary
[edit | edit source]Yūma uses Osamu's trigger to defeat the Neighbors. Replica gives Osamu a brief overview on Trion. Arashiyama Squad is on their way.
Long summary
[edit | edit source]Yūma activates Osamu's trigger in order to avoid Border's detection. He easily fends off the Marmod, only to find the blade chipping from the Marmod's hardened blades. As Yūma heads in for the kill, Osamu panics, since he thinks Yūma cannot defeat the Marmod with only a training trigger. However, his fears are proven wrong when Yūma successfully defeats both Marmods. He is shocked and confused by the difference in power levels, which prompts Replica to reveal himself, something he does not often do. He introduces himself as Yūma chaperone, and proceeds to explain trion and trion glands; the difference between Yūma's trion values and Osamu's trion values produce different results from the same trigger. Then, he requests Osamu to cover for Yūma's involvement, and the two emerge from the damaged school with Osamu supporting Yūma. Their classmates are amazed Osamu is a Border agent and praise him for saving their lives. Osamu feels bad, since he did not actually do anything, while Yūma plays into it. In the distance, Arashiyama Squad is almost there.
