Right, so last Wednesday I got to see Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and there was much *squee!ing* and *squeal!ing* on my part (not out loud, though...). It was soo good! Except I was all misty-eyed for most of the movie 'cause of course I knew what happens in the end and stuff... ;_; *sniff* But still, it was a really good movie, even though they obviously had a lot of stuff to cut out (some of which is actually important later, though). And the twins rocked! I can't wait to see them in the next movie, I loved them in Order of the Phoenix! But they'll have to back-track to explain where they get their money from since they cut it from the GoF movie, and it's kind of important. It better be in the deleted scenes or something. Oh, and Neville! He's one of my favorite characters in the whole series. He's just so adorable. And it was so sad when he was watching Moody do the Crucio curse on the spider. ;_; *huggles for Neville* I think that's enough Harry Potter ramblings; I'm not up for going on and on at full-length about everything. But it was a very good movie and I'll definitely be seeing it again. ^^;
Then on Thursday was Thanksgiving with my mom and stepdad and grandma-who-lives-in-town-but-not-next-d oor. Since none of us are talented enough to cook a turkey, we always go out for dinner, and while I've been away at school for the past four years (and not coming home for Thanksgiving 'cause it's too short of a break ;_;) my parents and grandma discovered a really yummy Thanksgiving buffet at the Frog Bar & Grill, which is a restaurant on a golf course in a really pretty area. So yay for being home for Thanksgiving after four years away, and yay for a yummy buffet! =)
Friday was, of course, Black Friday which I ignored completely by doing no shopping at all. So there. :P Instead, I started my Christmas shopping on Saturday night with online purchases. I like avoiding insane crowds. *nodnod*
Last night, on my way home from work I was all smiley 'cause they put up the holiday lights on State Street, and then when I got home my parents had put up our lights. I love holiday lights, they're so cheery! :D And today at the library, the winter holiday books have come up from storage.
<3 This is my favorite time of year! =)
