In the morning I went for a little walk to get in my steps for the day though...
The tanabata decorations in this little park stayed up for about a week, good thing it didn't rain or else all that paper would've caused a mess...
Look at the fish in this little river! After a big typhoon in August 2024 I hadn't seen any carp in this river anymore, they must've all gotten swept out... But this is the first time I've seen them again since then!
There was even a pretty gold one!
Random dinosaur statue on a sign... At first I thought some kid must've lost it but it seemed to be glued down??
View from the rice fields
The top of Oyama was just peeking out from the clouds! (It might've been a good day to climb, hmmm...)
There was this random patch of flowers between the rice fields
Lots of colors in it!
Farm shop selling watermelons... They didn't have one the size that I wanted though, only huge ones for 1000 yen or more... I informally "reserved" a small one with a different farmer I often talk to though, so I'll go pick that up later this week to bring on our camping trip :3
In the afternoon I wanted to go to the outdoors pool in the sports park because apparently it opened for the summer season on July 1st, but it was closed for a swimming tournament, which hadn't been announced on their website or anywhere. Oh well... They told me it'd be open the next day so I figured I'd just come back on Sunday.

I saw some nice roses in the park though, and I had a nice bike ride getting there and back
Because I'd come 30 minutes by bike all the way over a mountain pass, I ended up going to the onsen instead so it wasn't a waste of a trip xD
Mt. Fuji was faintly visible through the clouds, can you spot it?
